Close Race for the Solo Class
This year saw a fight to the bitter end for the solo class and what an exciting end to a fantastic race.
In the end 1 Charmed Life just pipped Spirit of Fernie to the line crossing at 07:46 local time (11:46 GMT) giving him a crossing time of 75 days, 23 hours and 46 minutes, with Spirit of Fernie just hours behind crossing the line at 15:46 local time (19:46 GMT) giving him a crossing time of 76 days, 7 hours and 46 minutes.
